Official: Barcelona quartet, including one returnee, handed international call-ups | OneFootball

Four members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday been afforded international call-ups, by Spain.

Three of the Blaugrana contingent unsurprisingly come in the form of Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Ferran Torres.

But also included is a returning member of Hansi Flick’s backline, who had been forced to watch on from afar since being afforded his maiden Spain call-up earlier this year.

Pau Cubarsí is the player in question, rewarded for a fine opening to the campaign at club level with a return to senior duties with La Roja.

Spain have been pencilled in for a pair of fixtures over the next couple of weeks.

First up comes a meeting with Denmark on October 12th, before the European champions play host to Serbia three days later.
