Later tonight, FC Barcelona will step onto the field at the Spotify Camp Nou, with the aim of overturning a four-goal deficit against Atletico Madrid to secure a spot in the finals of the Copa del Rey.
The Blaugrana lost the first leg 4-0 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and will need to pull off an improbable comeback against Diego Simeone’s men tonight.
With only a few hours left for kickoff, manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players who will be available at his disposal for selection.
There are no major surprises in the squad apart from the inclusion of young midfielder Tommy Marques, who is called up amidst the absence of Frenkie de Jong and Gavi.
Eric Garcia also misses out due to suspension, while Robert Lewandowski’s eye socket injury rules him out of the contest as well.
Ronald Araujo is a candidate to replace him, while Gerard Martin, back in the squad after serving a suspension against Villarreal, is also an option.
Marc Bernal and Marc Casado will be battling for a place in the starting lineup alongside Pedri in midfield.
Up top, Ferran Torres’ poor form raises some question marks over who could start as the No. 9, with Dani Olmo operating as a false nine being a realistic option.
