FC Barcelona will be raring to get back to winning ways in La Liga when they take on Valencia tonight at Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Having been held to a 1-1 draw in their last game, before the international break, the Catalans will be intent on securing all three points in their first home match of the season.
With kickoff just an hour away, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field against Carlos Corberan’s side.
All eyes were on who would replace the injured Lamine Yamal in the lineup, and Flick has decided to hand Roony Bardghji a start on the right flank, with the 19-year-old summer signing making his official debut for Barcelona today.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford starts on the left flank, meaning Raphinha has been given a breather. Ferran Torres continues as the centre-forward, with Robert Lewandowski still waiting for his first start this season.
In midfield, Marc Casado partners Pedri while Fermin Lopez gets the nod in the No. 10 role over Dani Olmo.
As for the defensive line, Gerard Martin replaces the injured Alejandro Balde at left-back while Jules Kounde starts on the right. Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia pair up at centre-back shielding Joan Garcia in goal.
