Another preseason game has now arrived for FC Barcelona as they prepare to take over South Korea by storm. After a dominant display over Vissel Kobe back in Japan, the Catalan side now faces FC Seoul. For Barcelona, a good result here is important for team morale.

Fortunately, Hansi Flick has a reliable squad at his disposal and it is filled to the brink with talent. With so many options, it is understandable if the German coach has a hard time picking out the right players for any encounter and this game will be no different.

While it is likely that the Barça coach will field two different lineups in both halves, the starters will still need to be at their best to boost overall morale and confidence. For that reason, Flick has selected a strong group of players.

Here is the official starting eleven for Barcelona against FC Seoul.

In goal, Joan Garcia starts for Hansi Flick’s side and he will look to have an impact. Beyond just trying to keep FC Seoul at bay, he will also need to be sharp with his distribution.

Right in front of him, Pau Cubarsi and Ronald Araujo form the centre-back partnership that will look to stop the South Korean team’s attack. Moreover, they will need to remain vigilant and attentive at all times.

On the flanks, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde will start as the team’s two full-backs for this game. They will need to add width to the team and provide support both offensively and defensively.

As for the two defensive midfielders, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong take those spots. They have the creative ability to make life easy for their forwards, and they also have the technical ability to control the game.

Ahead of them, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha occupy the two wings and will look to provide width and danger from the sides. Between them, Dani Olmo starts as the central attacking midfielder and he will look to facilitate the players around him.

Up top, Robert Lewandowski starts as the team’s primary centre-forward. He will be tasked with making the most out of the chances that come his way, and he will need to show real conviction up top as well.
