Official: Barcelona vs Guadalajara kick-off pushed back | OneFootball

Kick-off in the upcoming Copa del Rey meeting between Barcelona and Guadalajara has been delayed by 30 minutes.

As much was confirmed by the Blaugrana themselves a short time ago.

As per a statement across Barca’s official social media platforms on Tuesday evening:

‘For security reasons, the match will start at 9:30 PM.’

The ‘security reasons’ in question are understood to relate to ticketing problems at Guadalajara’s home ground.

Thousands of people remain in queues outside the stadium, as the fixture’s organisers attempt to sort through issues surrounding the ticket numbers for the temporary stand installed at the Estadio Pedro Escartín.

Upon proceedings finally getting underway for the evening, the home crowd will be treated to a glimpse at a whole host of high-profile Barcelona stars.

As much comes with Hansi Flick having opted to include the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Marcus Rashford and Lamine Yamal in his starting XI.
