Official: Bennacer leaves Milan and joins Dinamo Zagreb on loan, with option to buy

Ismaël Bennacer is off to Croatia at least for a season.

Bennacer was once a pillar at the midfield of the Rossoneri but today this is far from the case, so much so that he spent the entire summer being frozen out of the squad and looking for outs.

After declining several options, Ismaël agreed to move to Croatia where he reunites with Zvonimir Boban.

“Milan can confirm that Ismaël Bennacer has joined GNK Dinamo Zagreb on loan, with an option to make the deal permanent. The Club would like to wish Ismaël all the best for the upcoming season,” a statement reads.

It’s believed that Dinamo will pay around €1m of his €4m salary for the season, with the buy-out option set at €10m.
