Olympique Lyonnais have finally secured their Lucas Perri replacement. The Brazilian left to join Leeds United several weeks ago, and has now been replaced at the Groupama Stadium by Dominik Greif (28), who has joined on a permanent transfer from Mallorca.

Perri’s replacement had looked to be Matt Turner. However, the deal that saw the USMNT goalkeeper make the move from Nottingham Forest to OL was brokered by John Textor, who made a swift exit from the club, as the deal was completed.

Lyon wanted to pull out of the deal, but failed to do so. He arrived but swiftly left, making a loan move over to the MLS. This time, OL do have their new No.1 in the form of Greif. The Slovakian international has signed a four-year deal with Les Gones. The value of the transfer, while not disclosed, is thought to be €4m, not including bonuses included in the deal.
