Official – Former PSG player announces retirement!

Alessandro Florenzi, the 34-year-old right back from Italy (49 caps) who played for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2020-2021 season on loan from AS Roma, has decided to retire. He suffered a cruciate ligament rupture a year ago.

Florenzi hangs up his boots with notably in his record the Euro 2021 with Italy, the French Cup with PSG and the Serie A title with AC Milan in 2022. We thank him for his time in Paris, even though he left a certain disappointment among many supporters. We wish him well in this transition, perhaps somewhat forced by his injury.
