Official | Matteo Guendouzi joins Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe have confirmed the signing of Matteo Guendouzi (28) from Lazio. The France international midfielder has signed a 4 and a half year contract with the Turkish club.

Neither club has disclosed details regarding the value of the transfer. However, it is believed to be somewhere in the region of €15m. Guendouzi arrives in Turkey after two seasons in Rome in which he made over 80 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A club after joining from Marseille.

Guendouzi set for new chapter with Fenerbahçe

The 26-year-old will be hoping to hit the ground running after moving to the Turkish Super League. Guendouzi was linked with a move to Premier League clubs, but has decided Fenerbahçe is the right move for his career.
