Riccardo Sottil officially at Milan. (@acmilan.com)
Riccardo Sottil joins the Rossoneri at least until June.
Transfer deadline day saw Milan being incredibly active, and after sending Noah Okafor to Napoli, the Rossoneri were in the market for a new winger to act as a substitute for Rafael Leão.
Milan moved quickly and secured the services of the 25-year-old Italian Sottil.
“Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Riccardo Sottil from Fiorentina on a loan deal, with an option to make the move permanent.
“Born in Turin on 3 June 1999, Sottil progressed through the youth academies of Genoa, Torino and Fiorentina, making his professional debut for Fiorentina in September 2018. Over the course of his career, he has also played for Pescara and Cagliari before returning to Fiorentina, where he made a total of 138 appearances and scored 15 goals.
Sottil will wear the number 99 shirt.” Milan are paying €1m for the loan and would pay €10m in the summer to buy Sottil out.
