AC Milan is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Sara Kanutte Fornes from Malmö FF. The Norwegian forward has signed a contract with the Club until 30 June 2029. Born on 1 December 2001 on the island of Gossen, near Molde, Sara took her first steps in football with Gossen Idrettslagbefore making her senior debut at just 15 years old in Norway’s Third Division with SK Træff. She scored an impressive 50 goals in 27 appearances, earning a move to Rosenborg BK Women, where she made her Toppserien debut in 2018 and helped the club secure top-half finishes.

In 2023, the Norwegian striker moved to Sweden to join Hammarby IF before being loaned to IFK Norrköping. She quickly established herself as a regular starter, scoring 11 goals in 23 appearances to finish as the club’s leading scorer. In 2024, she completed a move to Malmö FF Women.

Alongside her club career, Sara has also been a key figure for Norway’s youth national teams.

Sara Kanutte Fornes will wear the number 9 shirt.
