Kail Boudache (19) has recently made his breakthrough at formative club OGC Nice, however, he is not set to turn professional with Le Gym. Instead, he is set to join Olympique Lyonnais, according to a report from L’Équipe

Boudache made his breakthrough following the arrival of Claude Puel in December. Whilst he has made just one start, he has impressed off the bench, netting twice in 15 matches and dazzling with his technical ability. Nice, naturally, have been engaged in attempts to get him to sign his first professional deal with the club.

Those talks, however, have not advanced. Part of the issue is the uncertainty around the project. Le Gym are still mired in a relegation battle and are not guaranteed to be in Ligue 1 next season, whilst the club are also for sale.

As a result, Boudache looks set to leave at the end of the season and sign for Lyon. He is set to sign a three-year deal with the option for a further two years.
