OL call-ups: Merah, Kamara and Hamdani named in France U19 and U17 squads | OneFootball

A string of Lyon players will depart for international duty from Monday, the day after the Monaco game.

According to Le Progres, Pavel Sulc and Adam Karabec join the Czech Republic, Nicolas Tagliafico links up with Argentina, Moussa Niakhaté with Senegal and Tanner Tessmann with the United States. Endrick is with Brazil and Noah Nartey with Denmark.

Khalis Merah and Noam Kamara have been called by France U19 for the 2026 European Championship Elite round in Croatia, where they face Norway, Switzerland and Croatia. Whether Kamara is over a groin issue remains to be seen. Goalkeeper Yevann Konan will join Ivory Coast U23.

Adil Hamdani is with France U17, alongside fellow Lyon player Kénan Doganay, for round two of qualifying for the age-group Euros. Three matches against Slovenia, North Macedonia and Germany will be played in Slovenia.

Paulo Fonseca and his staff can continue working at Décines with the remaining squad, including those back from injury and not selected, such as Malick Fofana, Orel Mangala and Afonso Moreira.
