Besiktas are the latest club to show interest in signing Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho, as per reports.

United agreed to loan out Sancho to Chelsea with a view to getting rid of him permanently this summer. However, the Blues backed out of a permanent transfer by agreeing to pay a penalty fee at the end of the season.

As such, the out-of-favour forward is once again United’s problem, with the Red Devils desperate to offload him. Signed from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £73 million, Sancho is one of the club’s highest paid players.

His underwhelming loan stint and exorbitant wage demands have made it difficult for suitors to do a deal this summer.

Juventus have explored the possibility of signing him but they are reluctant to offer him a lucrative contract. Now, Solskjaer could come to United’s rescue.

According to reporter Ersin Albayrak (via Kartal Record), Solskjaer-led Besiktas are eyeing a winger during the summer transfer window and have turned their attention towards Sancho.

It is claimed that the Turkish giants have asked about the conditions of a deal for the 25-year-old.

It was Solskjaer who chased the ex-Dortmund sensation for two years before signing him for his United side in 2021.

However, he could manage him for only a handful of games as the Mancunians sacked him following a frustrating start to the season.

The Norwegian tactician is now looking to reunite with the England international, who is understood to be valued at around £25 million by United.

In recent weeks, Besiktas have also been linked with former United youngsters Brandon Williams and Maxi Oyedele.

United, meanwhile, are looking to revamp their attack, with Ruben Amorim keen on signing Bryan Mbeumo and a new striker. Sancho’s sale would allow them to intensify their pursuit.
