A sidelined member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona joined the rest of his teammates in making the trip to Madrid for the club’s latest outing.
That’s according to Carlos Monfort of Jijantes, who points towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.
Midfielder Casadó is of course currently in the midst of a spell on the treatment table.
This comes owing to a lateral collateral ligament injury in his right knee, suffered en route to Barcelona’s La Liga victory over Atlético Madrid last month.
The Spanish international is expected to miss the remainder of the season as a result.
As alluded to above, though, Casadó’s influence evidently remains strong behind the scenes in Hansi Flick’s squad.
This comes amid confirmation by way of the aforementioned Carlos Monfort that the 21-year-old was included in the Blaugrana’s travelling party which made the trip to Spain’s capital for a Copa del Rey showdown with Atlético Madrid.
Casadó was the only injured Barca player to make the trip, with the rest of the sidelined contingent having stayed put in Catalunya.
