‘Only fools…’ – Jude Bellingham sends public message to Real Madrid teammate Rodrygo | OneFootball

The latest social media activity on the part of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has turned heads across the day to date.

This comes after the England international moved to throw his backing behind teammate Rodrygo.

Both Bellingham and Rodrygo, of course, were back in action on Tuesday night, as Real Madrid kicked the club’s Champions League campaign into gear courtesy of a 3-1 downing of Stuttgart.

The latter was in particularly fine form on the evening, and laid on Los Blancos’ opener for Kylian Mbappé.

This comes amid what has proven something of a hit-and-miss opening to the new season for Rodrygo, not only on the pitch, but away from it, too.

Widespread chatter in the media has pointed towards the Brazilian international as having become something of the odd man out, in making room for the star-studded trio of summer arrival Mbappé, Vinícius Jr, and the aforementioned Bellingham.

Rodrygo himself has made clear his frustration with as much, amid concerns surrounding potential tension in the dressing room in Spain’s capital.

In the aftermath of Tuesday’s victory, however, Bellingham moved to put to bed such chatter.

Taking to the comments section of Rodrygo’s latest Instagram post, the midfielder assured that ‘Only the fools forget the R’.

This comes in reference to Rodrygo’s name, after the 23-year-old found himself left out of the ‘BMV’ trio coined in the press.
