Yesterday, Orlando Pirates secured their fourth consecutive MTN8 title with a commanding 3-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC in the final at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.After 90 tightly contested minutes ended goalless, the new Pirates signing, Tshepang Moremi, broke the deadlock in the 92nd minute of stoppage time. The Buccaneers quickly widened the gap: Tshegofatso Mabasa struck again in the 103rd minute, before Moremi sealed the win with his second of the night in the 110th minute, finishing off a brilliant assist from Ozwin Apollis.This triumph marks a major milestone for Moroccan coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, who claims his first trophy in South Africa after his previous stint at Marumo Gallants.

Since taking charge in July 2025, Ouaddou has led the team in 9 matches, recording 6 wins, 1 draw, and 2 defeats.
