Orsolini targeted by Trabzonspor as alternative to Prestianni | OneFootball

Turkish football continues looking to Serie A with reports Trabzonspor have started talks with Bologna for Riccardo Orsolini, who they see as an alternative to Gianluca Prestianni of Benfica.

There are strong bonds growing between the two football nations, as shown by the fact Vincenzo Montella is the coach of the Turkiye national team and Besiktas just hired Vincenzo Italiano.

According to Fanatik, now Trabzonspor have set their sights on Bologna winger Orsolini, as the 29-year-old is only a few months away from the end of his contract.

He has been at the Stadio Dall’Ara since 2018 after his €15m move from Juventus, and has two goals in 13 senior caps for Italy.

The versatile winger can play on the right or left, but prefers the right so he can cut inside and shoot with his left foot.

Orsolini scored 14 goals with one assist in 51 competitive games for the Rossoblu last season.

It’s reported that Prestianni remains the first choice for Trabzonspor, but they see the Italian as a valid alternative.
