Osasuna defender Flavien-Enzo Boyomo on Benfica’s list of targets | OneFootball

Benfica are considering a move for Flavien-Enzo Boyomo, the 24-year-old Osasuna centre-back, as a possible addition at the heart of their defence next season.

El Gol Digital reports that the Cameroonian has a 25 million euro release clause, which the LaLiga club do not plan to negotiate. Osasuna secured survival the hard way last season and remain firm over the defender’s future.

Boyomo joined Osasuna in summer 2024 from Real Valladolid in a deal worth about five million euros. He has since established himself as a starter and drawn interest from several European clubs.

The Spanish club are not easy to deal with in the market. They have recently rejected bids from Juventus and Premier League sides, underlining reluctance to sell important players.

On the pitch, Boyomo is noted for aggressive defending, sharp anticipation and strength in physical duels. At 1.80 metres, shorter than many centre-backs in major European leagues, he compensates with positioning and intensity.
