Ousmane Dembélé sends thank you message to Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé has on Wednesday sent a message of thanks the way of Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.

This comes after the latter showed his class in forwarding his congratulations to Dembélé following this week’s Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Frontman Dembélé is of course fresh off being crowned world football’s standout performer for the last 12 months.

As much came by way of the Ballon d’Or award for 2025.

The Frenchman beat out competition from the game’s leading names to clinch the prize, with his closest challenger having come in the form of the aforementioned Lamine.

In the aftermath of the gala, Barcelona’s wing sensation was quick to take to social media, to congratulate Dembélé for his award.

And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, the PSG standout has responded.

Taking to the comments section of Lamine’s latest post on Instagram, Dembélé wrote:

“Thank you, Lamine! Congratulations on the Kopa Trophy and for all the success you’re experiencing.”
