Palmeiras could welcome back Murilo and Vitor Roque for Wednesday’s meeting with Botafogo after both took part in Monday’s session with the squad. According to Globo.com, the pair are at an advanced stage of recovery from physical issues.
Murilo sustained a mild sprain to his left knee and missed the two games that followed the Campeonato Paulista final. Vitor Roque has been managing pain in his left ankle since the State Championship semi-final against São Paulo.
Paulinho also worked on the pitch, though he remains on an individual reconditioning plan away from the main group.
Players who featured for more than a half in Sunday’s win over Mirassol completed recovery work inside the Academia de Futebol.
Palmeiras, second in the Brasileirão on 13 points, host Botafogo at 7pm Brasília time. The fixture is part of the seventh round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
