Palmeiras have rejected Parma’s offer to take Erick Belé on a season-long loan, which included a 4 million euros purchase option, about R$ 23 million.
Parma had signalled interest in the last transfer window, but talks did not advance. Nosso Palestra reported the approach.
Palmeiras are seeking a significantly higher deal and would prioritise a permanent sale while keeping a percentage of his economic rights, though a loan is still seen as useful for his development. The club value him at around 20 million euros, roughly R$ 116 million, and are not rushing a sale even if one would support this season’s budget target.
Belé is in the process of obtaining Italian citizenship to ease a move to Europe. He is contracted until December 2028, with a 100 million euros release clause, R$ 584 million.
In May, after a 4-1 win over Jacuipense in the Copa do Brasil, head coach Abel Ferreira praised Belé’s display and the work of the club’s academy. He noted that Belé trained with the first team last year, is more involved this season, and will play at youth level when appropriate. He also pointed to the president’s vision, first-team training methods and the academy work led by João Paulo and his coaches.
Across the first team, under-20s and youth international duty, Belé has played 15 matches this season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.
