Palmeiras sign Glaucia as fifth women's signing for 2026

Palmeiras have announced forward Glaucia, formerly of Flamengo, as their fifth women's signing for 2026, with Rosana Augusto preparing for her first season after replacing Camilla Orlando at the end of last year.
According to Globo.com, the champions of the Paulista and the Copa do Brasil Feminina start 2026 with a settled core.
She joins after two seasons at Flamengo, scoring 17 and providing five assists. She was named among Brazil's best forwards in 2019 after 19 goals and 18 assists for Santos.
On arrival she recalled a childhood link, her grandfather, a devoted Palmeiras fan, dressed her in the green kit. She said he would be delighted and would be the first in the stands, and her uncles plan to be there too.
Before Glaucia, Palmeiras brought back midfielder Duda Santos from Ferroviária after a spell with the club between 2021 and 2023, and added Duda Basílio and left-back Ana Guimarães from Botafogo, plus forward Layssa Santos from Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia.
The club have retained goalkeepers Ravena and Tainá Borges, defender Pati Maldaner, right-back Fe Palermo, midfielders Andressinha and Ingryd Lima, and forward Taina Maranhão through new deals announced since December. They begin 2026 in the Supercopa Feminina against Corinthians, then contest the Brasileirão, Paulista, Copa do Brasil and the Conmebol Libertadores.
