Palmeiras stay unbeaten against São Paulo state Serie A rivals after Mirassol win | OneFootball

Palmeiras maintained their 2026 unbeaten record against São Paulo state Serie A sides with a 1-0 victory over Mirassol at Allianz Parque on Sunday 15, Flaco López scoring in the sixth round of the Brasileirão.

As reported by Nosso Palestra, the run spans meetings with Santos, Mirassol, São Paulo and Corinthians across state and national competition.

It began in the Campeonato Paulista, where Palmeiras beat Santos 1-0 through Allan, then overcame Mirassol 1-0 with López on target.

They followed up by defeating São Paulo 3-1, courtesy of López, Mauricio and Khellven. Away to Corinthians, they won 1-0 at Neo Química Arena, López again deciding it.

In the Paulista semi-final they edged São Paulo 2-1, Mauricio and López scoring to secure a place in the state decider.

López has struck in five of these fixtures, underlining his importance to the attack this season.

Palmeiras face Botafogo on Wednesday 18 at 19:00 Brasília time in the Brasileirão.
