Palmeiras stand to profit from Pedro Lima's move to Sporting Lisbon, with an announcement understood to be close.
The Portuguese club will pay €four million as a fixed fee, about R$ 23 million, with a further €two million in bonuses tied to targets.
Palmeiras retained 30 percent of the midfielder's economic rights when he joined AVS last year, so the club are due about R$ seven million from this deal.
They will also receive a share via FIFA's solidarity mechanism for training clubs, nearly three percent, estimated at roughly R$ 700 thousand. The club do not include such payments in their R$ 399.6 million sales target for the season.
Sporting are also in negotiations for forward Gabriel Silva, another move that could bring income to Palmeiras.
Lima spent ten years in Palmeiras' academy and featured only once for the first team, against Bolívar in the 2023 Conmebol Libertadores. He later had loans with Norwich City's under-21s and NK Ojisek, then excelled at AVS in Portugal with six goals and two assists in 29 matches.
