Palmeiras unveil 1990s tribute goalkeeper kit, debut set against Jacuipense | OneFootball

Palmeiras have unveiled a special goalkeeper kit for this season, honouring the club’s celebrated 1990s goalkeepers.

According to Globo.com, the shirt will debut on Thursday at 19:30 Brasília time at Estádio do Palmeiras, in the first leg of the fifth phase of the Copa do Brasil against Jacuipense.

The blue design nods to iconic models from one of the club’s most successful eras. It recalls figures of that generation, notably Marcos and Velloso, who wore similar patterns in the late 1990s.

Following the template of the outfield kits launched earlier this year, the fabric is 100% recycled. The shirt also features Drycell technology, designed for moisture absorption and improved thermal comfort during matches.

The new shirt is already on sale on the club’s website and in official stores, priced from R$ 369,99 for the children’s line and R$ 429,99 for the adult line.
