Raphael Veiga’s future at Palmeiras remains unresolved amid talks with América-MEX, and the midfielder could depart in the coming days.

According to Nosso Palestra, the club want clarity by Friday 30, with all parties set to meet again on Thursday 29 to continue negotiations.

Veiga has indicated he would accept América-MEX’s proposal if an agreement is reached between the clubs. He is not pushing to leave and would remain without complaint should no deal be struck.

Head coach Abel Ferreira has made clear, internally and publicly, that he does not want to lose one of his dressing-room leaders. He is awaiting reinforcements and believes that, if the midfielder departs, another high-profile signing in that role would be required.

The number 23 remains a key figure while talks progress, with a decision targeted before the weekend.
