Paratici to join Fiorentina, thanks Tottenham and will watch Spurs closely | OneFootball

Fabio Paratici will become Fiorentina’s sporting director on 4 February 2026, after completing the January window with Tottenham. He thanked the club for accommodating his wish to return to Italy and said he would follow Spurs closely.

Fiorentina and Tottenham confirmed the appointment on Wednesday.

Paratici said he had loved his time in north London, but that the chance to join Fiorentina, together with the need to be based in his homeland, led to his decision.

He will take over a struggling side, who sit on 14 points from 20 Serie A matches and are three points from safety. Recent form has improved, with one win and two draws in their last three league games.

Paratici returns to Italy after a long spell at Juventus, where he progressed from sporting director to Chief Football Officer. He joined Tottenham in summer 2021 and resumed duties in October 2025 following the completion of a 30-month ban.
