The Paris Court of Appeal has confirmed the annulment of the €55 million freezing order on Paris Saint-Germain’s accounts in the financial dispute involving Kylian Mbappé. RMC reports the ruling was issued on Tuesday.
The Real Madrid forward secured the measure in April. On 26 May, a Paris enforcement judge lifted the seizures on three club accounts, and Mbappé’s lawyers appealed.
PSG’s lawyer Renaud Semerdjian said the disagreement is about good faith, upholding values and respecting commitments.
The decision comes days before both parties are due before the Conseil des prud’hommes on Tuesday 16 December.
The Conseil des prud’hommes will deliver its judgment following the November hearing, at which Mbappé sought €263 million and PSG €440 million in return.
