AJ Auxerre have signed experienced French goalkeeper Paul Nardi on a deal running to 2028 after his Queens Park Rangers departure. The move follows Donovan Léon’s transfer to Saudi side Abha Club, newly promoted to the Saudi Pro League.
Nardi, 32, will wear the number one shirt and compete with Mamadou Diop, 26, who arrived from Grenoble. The club said in a statement that the former France Under-21 international will add quality and experience to the squad.

The former Nancy and Lorient keeper also had spells at Cercle Bruges and Gent.
He had been without a club, and his former club finished 15th in the English second tier last season.
He began the 2025-26 campaign as first choice but lost his place in the second half of the season, with Joe Walsh preferred.
