Paulistão standings after round six as Corinthians win and Santos stay 14th

The sixth round of the 2026 Paulistão closed on Thursday night as Corinthians beat Capivariano 3-0 at Neo Química Arena, with Santos remaining 14th on six points.
According to Diario Do Peixe, Novorizontino lead on 13 points. Palmeiras are second on 12, the same as Red Bull Bragantino, and Corinthians sit fourth with 11.
In the relegation places are Velo Clube, Santos' final-round opponents, on four points, and Ponte Preta, bottom with one.
Under the competition's new format, each team plays eight matches in the first phase. The top eight progress to single-match quarter-finals, with the leaders facing the eighth-placed side, second against seventh, third versus sixth and fourth meeting fifth.
The bottom two after the first phase are relegated to Série A-2.
Sixth-round results: Guarani 1-0 Ponte Preta, São Paulo 2-0 Santos, Primavera 1-2 Portuguesa, Red Bull Bragantino 1-1 São Bernardo, Noroeste 2-0 Velo Clube, Botafogo 1-0 Palmeiras, Mirassol 1-1 Novorizontino, Corinthians 3-0 Capivariano.
