Flamengo have expressed interest in signing Paulo Dybala from Roma when his contract ends, but despite his appeal among supporters, a run of injuries has blighted his season.
According to César Luis Merlo, Flamengo are preparing a four-year offer for the 32-year-old, whose Roma deal runs until June.
In 2025-26 he has suffered four injuries, beginning with a thigh problem in November then a biceps femoris issue. He later required knee surgery and has not played since early January.
Dybala has missed about 20 games for Roma this season. Even if he returns, it will be among his leanest campaigns in Europe since joining Palermo.
He has made 22 appearances, totalling 1,294 minutes for Roma, with four goals and three assists.
Boca Juniors are also interested in the forward.
