Chelsea will clash heads with West Ham United at the London Stadium on Friday night as they look to secure their first win of this Premier League campaign. The Blues were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace last weekend, so they would be eager to pick up all three points from this London derby versus the Hammers.
Enzo Maresca will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Joao Pedro will once again get a chance to impress as Chelsea‘s centre-forward up top.
Robert Sanchez will function in between the sticks for the Blues after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Josh Acheampong will get another chance to shine alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of Maresca’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Reece James will try to give a good account of himself as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the West Ham half.
Malo Gusto and Jorrel Hato will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Moises Caicedo will play along with Enzo Fernandez at the centre of Chelsea’s midfield as they look to retain possession well at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Jamie Gittens, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto will play just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. Palmer has to carry most of the creative workload for the Blues in the final third.
Estevao will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Joao Pedro will lead the line for the West London club in the final third. He would be eager to impress after failing to find the back of the net last weekend.
Liam Delap will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
