Lorenzo Pellegrini wants to stay in the capital. The Giallorossi midfielder’s contract expires on June 30th, but he has no intention of joining any team other than Roma.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s number 7 ended the season injured, unable to recover from the final push that led the Roman club to third place.

Pellegrini hopes to play in the Champions League again with the Giallorossi.

The former captain has added to his season this year with seven goals and four assists in 33 games.

Lorenzo Pellegrini, in order to remain at Roma, is reportedly willing to lower his current salary of €6 million net plus bonuses to a figure between €2.5 million and €3 million.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, it would be a three-year contract with those significant waivers.

Pellegrini, like Dybala, intends to accommodate the Giallorossi by reducing his salary by more than 50% at a time when, with the Champions League in his pocket, asking for an increase would be a given elsewhere.
