Personnel changes to medical staff

Daniel Lay joins as team doctor with immediate effect alongside Sebastian Schneider.

Dr. med. Daniel Lay has joined the Eintracht Frankfurt medical department as team doctor, starting immediately. He’s served as team doctor at Bayer 04 Leverkusen in recent years, as well as for various German youth national teams. He also previously worked for the German Sport University Cologne in the Institute for Sport and Sports Medicine and at the Rhineland Olympic Center. In addition, Lay provided medical support to the SC Magdeburg handball team, with whom he celebrated the EHF Champions League title in 2023.

Christian Haser M.Sc. MBA remains the head of the medical department, while Prof. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Winfried Banzer heads the scientific department of medicine.
