PGMOL have admitted a major officiating error involving Wolves, and Manchester United are set to meet Howard Webb to seek answers.
According to Molineux.news, the flashpoint came during Wolves' 4-1 defeat by Manchester United a couple of weeks ago. The ball struck Emmanuel Agbadou high on the arm as he blocked a shot, his arm slightly away from his body and the effort going wide.
It was not penalised at the time, but after United complained about several decisions PGMOL have said the decision was wrong and should have been given.
Wolves have had fewer run-ins with PGMOL this season by their standards, yet their position also reflects mistakes of their own.
Debate over VAR persists, and after a Max Kilman incident against West Ham a former Wolves manager said he could not see who would oppose scrapping it completely.
It is ironic, given Premier League clubs voted 19-1 to retain VAR, with Wolves the only dissenting club.
