A former teammate of Barcelona star Marcus Rashford has on Monday shown his support for the attacker and his new surroundings.

The player in question? Jesse Lingard.

Rashford and Lingard of course spent a number of years plying their club trade alongside one another, on the books of Premier League giants Manchester United.

The two Englishmen are also known to have struck up a close friendship during this time.

Midfielder Lingard has since seen his career take a somewhat surprising turn, with the 32-year-old currently plying his trade in South Korea with FC Seoul.

Rashford, on the other hand, this past summer linked up with one of world football’s leading clubs, in Barcelona.

And as alluded to above, early this week, the winger’s ex-teammate appeared to show his support for Rashford.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Lingard unveiled a photo of himself donning the colours of none other than Barca:
