Rose became the assist man in the 30’, using his footwork inside the box to pick his pass and find José Murillo in front of goal.

Jorlian Sánchez extended the lead for the Panamanian side in the 52’ with a right-footed shot from close range. A block by Alyer López led to the rebound attempt from Sánchez.

Managua FC pulled one back in the 68’ through second half substitute Mauro Véron. Véron collected his brace in the 81’ with a header in the box to meet a cross from Carlos Hernández.

With the victory, Plaza Amador improves to 3-0-0 to maintain first place in Group A and becomes the first club to qualify for the Quarterfinals. The Panamanian club will conclude the Group Stage by hosting Alianza FC next Wednesday.
