Piotr Zielinski expressed quiet satisfaction after Inter’s 3-1 victory over Bologna at San Siro, a match in which the Nerazzurri delivered a convincing performance while once again asserting their authority against a traditionally awkward opponent.
Speaking to DAZN alongside captain Lautaro Martinez after the final whistle, the Poland international reflected on both his personal form and the collective approach taken by the team.
Zielinski acknowledged that recent performances have marked a positive spell for him in an Inter shirt, underlining his desire to contribute consistently rather than seek the spotlight.
“For a while now we’ve been seeing a good Zielinski,” he said. “I’m happy to be able to give my support to the team.”
His words pointed to a player comfortable with his role within the squad, focused on balance and reliability rather than individual acclaim.

The midfielder also highlighted Inter’s preparation for the match, stressing how the tactical work done in the build-up translated onto the pitch.
“Today we prepared the match well,” Zielinski explained.
“Everything went well apart from the final goal we conceded.”
While the late Bologna strike slightly blemished the scoreline, it did little to detract from Inter’s overall control.
Zielinski was careful not to underestimate the opposition, noting Inter’s recent history against the Rossoblu.
“We knew that against Bologna it’s not easy and that we often suffer,” he added, framing the result as a sign of maturity and growth.
