Porto will hold part of their pre-season in England at St George's Park, with arrangements being finalised. It will be a first return to the England team’s training centre in 12 years, before the Supertaça.
According to O Jogo, Francesco Farioli has set 1 July for the squad to report at Olival. The opening days will cover medicals, muscle recovery and adaptation to the Italian’s methods. Some players involved in the 2026 World Cup will return later.
The England camp’s duration is still being decided, likely between one week and 10 days, with potential friendlies under discussion. Travel is planned for mid-way through the second week, as Barcelona are also expected to use the complex later in July.
Porto previously used St George's Park in the 2014/15 build-up under Julen Lopetegui. The centre is in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
Facilities include an indoor synthetic pitch, 13 outdoor pitches, an indoor arena and a specialist goalkeeper area. There is also a 20-degree conditioning hill, an advanced medical and rehabilitation centre, four meeting rooms and an on-site hotel with 228 rooms.
