Portugal U16: Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. called up

The next generation is on the rise. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., son of the Portuguese superstar, continues his development and has just been called up to the Portugal U16 squad to take part in the Federations Cup in Turkey, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has announced.

At just 15 years old, the young talent plays in the youth ranks of Al-Nassr, the same club as his father. He had already been selected for the Portuguese U15 team earlier this year and made his mark by netting two goals in the final of the Vlatko Markovic Tournament, which Portugal went on to win.
