Tottenham Hotspur will face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup quarter-final on Thursday.

Liverpool, Newcastle United and Arsenal have all progressed to the semi-finals, and Spurs will be looking to join them tonight with a win over their Premier League rivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs returned to winning ways last week after beating Southampton 5-0 in the Premier League. They will look to carry forward the momentum with another strong performance against the Red Devils.

Ange Postecoglou will miss several key players for this game, but Spurs still have enough quality to beat United, who are showing signs of progress under Ruben Amorim.

Predicted Tottenham Hotspur starting XI v Man Utd

With Guglielmo Vicario still out injured, Fraser Forster will continue in goal.

Postecoglou told reporters that Micky van de Ven has returned to returning, but he will need more time to get back to full fitness.

The same can be said about Ben Davies, who is also currently injured. Cristian Romero could be out for six weeks, which means Postecoglou has limited options but to start with Radu Dragusin and Archie Gray.

Destiny Udogie picked up an injury against the Saints, and Postecoglou hinted that the 22-year-old may fail to recover before the game. This means Pedro Porro will be brought back into the side.

In midfield, Postecoglou needs to make a big decision. Lucas Bergvall has done well, but the Spurs boss could be tempted to start with Yves Bissouma.

The Mali international will return from suspension, and his experience and quality could make a big difference against United.

Pape Matar Sarr and James Maddison should continue to keep their places.

Son-Heung Min should be fresh after he was taken off at the break against the Saints. He will start alongside Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke in the front three.

Predicted Tottenham starting XI: Forster; Dragusin, Gray, Spence, Porro; Maddison, Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Son, Solanke.
