The Goal of the Month contenders for the Premier League in September have been officially announced.

Eight strikes are up for the honour and voting is open until Monday, with the winner announced next week.

Previously on Thursday, the contenders for the Premier League’s September Manager of the Month award have been revealed.

Five men are in line to win the second season honour: Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Marco Silva (Fulham) and Arne Slot (Liverpool).

The award was won in August by Brighton boss Fabian Hürzeler.

Earlier, the Premier League Player of the Month nominees for September have been announced.

Eight players are in contention for the award, which was won in August by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

The nominees are: Harvey Barnes (Newcastle), Luis Díaz (Liverpool), Gabriel (Arsenal), Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Raúl Jiménez (Fulham), Dwight McNeil (Everton), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa).

Fans can cast their vote until Monday and the winner will be announced later next week.
