Aston Villa are into the Europa League final on 20 May in Istanbul, where they will meet Fribourg.

Crystal Palace have booked a place in the Europa Conference League final on 27 May in Leipzig against Rayo Vallecano.

Since the Conference League was introduced in 2021-2022, only Italy have matched this feat, in 2023, when Inter Milan, AS Rome and Fiorentina all reached finals.

England will aim for a better return, as those Italian sides were all beaten. Inter lost 1-0 to Manchester City, AS Rome drew 1-1 with Sevilla then lost 1-4 on penalties, and Fiorentina were defeated 2-1 by West Ham.
