A fresh insight into the chances of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford joining Barcelona this summer has on Tuesday been provided.

The info comes by way of Diario Sport, and confirms that, in the case of playing his cards right, the England international has a ‘high’ chance of sealing a dream Camp Nou switch.

Rashford’s profile is one of several which are currently being considered by those in the boardroom at Barcelona.

Following Nico Williams’ shock future U-turn, the Blaugrana have been forced to broaden their search for reinforcements out wide once more.

Owing to as much, Rashford’s name has been underlined in red once more.

The 27-year-old is considered something of a plan B on the part of Deco and co, who view Liverpool’s Luis Díaz as a superior option.

With a deal for the Colombian expected to prove hugely difficult to come by, though, Rashford’s arrival in Hansi Flick’s squad remains a real possibility.
