Premier League transfers so far: Arsenal keep Hincapie, Brighton sell van Hecke, Alonso joins Chelsea

Two and a half weeks into the summer window, completed Premier League deals are stacking up as Leeds United prepare for season two back. The round-up includes a star’s confirmed exit from a likely Leeds rival and a £24m midfield arrival at Everton.
According to yorkshireevenpost.co.uk, Arsenal have made Piero Hincapie’s switch from Bayer Leverkusen permanent for £25m. Jakub Kiwior has joined Porto and Karl Hein has moved to Werder Bremen after loans, with Samuel Onyekachukwu among eight players released. Aston Villa have secured Modou Keba Cisse from LASK on a pre-contract, with no departures listed.
Bournemouth have no player arrivals, though Marco Rose has been appointed head coach. Marcos Senesi has joined Tottenham and Luis Sinisterra has sealed a permanent move to Cruizeiro after a loan. Andoni Iraola has departed and is now Liverpool head coach.
Brentford have signed Jannik Schuster from Red Bull Salzburg for £17.2m. Reiss Nelson has returned to Arsenal after a loan, Frank Onyeka has joined Coventry City and others have moved on, including Michael Olakigbe on loan.
Brighton have brought in Pascal Struijk from Leeds for £18m, alongside Zadok Yohanna and Costinha. Jan Paul van Hecke has left for Tottenham for £52m, James Milner retired and Joel Veltman, Solly March and Adam Webster left as contracts expired.
Chelsea have added Marco Palestra from Atalanta for £43m and named Xabi Alonso as head coach. Marc Cucurella has joined Real Madrid for £51.8m.
