While still in Argentina, he said he would push hard over Benfica's final seven matches to try to earn Lionel Scaloni's 2026 World Cup call-up.

"I would give everything to be at the World Cup. Even what I do not have. But I have to stay calm, working at Benfica, to see if the opportunity arises. I think I am doing very well at Benfica, everything the coach asks of me," he told Telefe.

This season for Benfica, Prestianni, valued at €12 million, has made 33 appearances, 22 in Liga Portugal Betclic, five in the Champions League, two in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. He has played 1,693 minutes, scoring three goals and supplying two assists.
