Barcelona welcome Atlético Madrid to Camp Nou in round 14 of LaLiga on Tuesday evening.

Hansi Flick’s men are undefeated in LaLiga since their 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in late October.

Aside from their recent loss against Chelsea in the Champions League, they have wins over Alavés, Athletic Club, Celta Vigo and Elche in their last six games, along with a draw against Club Brugge.

They currently sit at the top of the table in La Liga on 34 points, just three ahead of their opponents.

The hosts will be looking for their fifth straight win in the league when they face Los Colchoneros at the refurbished Spotify Camp Nou.

Flick acknowledged that it will be a tough game as Atléti are in form. He said: “We know we are up against a fantastic team with a lot of quality, one of the best in Europe with one of the best coaches.

“For that reason, it will be a tough encounter. We are back at the top, and we are happy about that. It’s where we want to be, but the important thing is to stay there until the end of the season.

“We have to keep working hard and give our best. We are leaders but at the moment we are not at our best. We need to move forward to get back to playing our best football.”

Ronald Araújo, Eric García, Fermín López, Marc-André ter Stegen and Gavi are out with injuries.

Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid are also in excellent domestic form: their last loss in the league came against Espanyol back in August.

The last time the sides met was in April, with Barcelona winning 1-0 in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final. Flick’s men then went on to win the competition against Real Madrid.

It’s a match with plenty of history. The sides have faced each other on a whopping 246 occasions, with Barcelona winning 112 to Atléti’s 77, sharing the spoils 57 times.

Robin Le Normand and Marcos Llorente are out for the visitors due to injuries.

The match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports with a kick-off time of 20:00 GMT.
