Blackburn Rovers and Ipswich Town clash this Saturday at the Ewood Park for round six of the EFL Championship.
Blackburn Rovers have 6 points to their name this season and occupy 16th position in the table. In their last fixture, Valérien Ismaël's team won 0-1 against Watford (EFL Championship 2025/26).
Ipswich Town currently have 6 points and lie in 14th position. Last time out, Kieran McKenna's team triumphed 5-0 against Sheffield United (EFL Championship 2025/26).
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Ipswich Town winning 1-0.
Adam Wilkin (Blue Monday): The train has finally left the station with a 5-0 victory against Sheffield United last Friday night where all of Town's early season promise finally clicked to achieve a thumping victory.
Now that the monkey is off their back's they'll be looking to progress further and pick up their first three points on the road.
The balance of the team finally looked right so I can't see there being any changes. Darnell Furlong excelled at right-back. Chuba Akpom brought a more physical presence behind the striker and Jaden Philogene put in an outstanding performance.
To then have over 20 million pounds of talent to come off of the bench is quite a statement and I think it could be the subs that make the difference in this one.
