Norwich City and Wrexham face off this Saturday at the Carrow Road in EFL Championship.

Norwich City currently have 7 points and lie in 10th position. In their last fixture, Liam Manning's team shared the spoils 1-1 with Coventry City (EFL Championship 2025/26).

Wrexham have picked up 4 points and currently lie in 21st position. In their last encounter, Phil Parkinson's team were beaten 1-3 by QPR (EFL Championship 2025/26).

The last meeting between the two teams ended with Norwich City winning 4-0.

The Fan Zone

Craig Jones : After things had taken a turn for the better before the international break, Wrexham came back to the harsh reality of the Championship with a 3-1 home defeat to QPR last weekend.

It was a game we deserved nothing from and the manner of the defeat - with very poor defending again - is causing some concern.

Phil Parkinson has responded in the press suggesting he may tweak the formation and tactics for our visit to Carrow Road on Saturday.

It's very apparent that something has to change.

He is set to have a couple of extra players at his disposal, with Josh Windass and George Thomason returning from injury to hopefully make the squad.

Left wing back Liberato Cacace has picked up another injury unfortunately, which will see him sidelined for a few weeks.

The starting XI prediction is very difficult this week as there is the possibility of some wholesale changes, with the likes of Kabore, Hyam, Sheaf, Windass and Broadhead all staking claims to start.

However, as Parky does like to nurse players in gently, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same back five start, with the League Cup game on Tuesday used to blood some of the new recruits.

That said, Sheaf is almost certain to make his first start in midfield - probably at the expense of Matty James.

I also think Ryan Hardie will be dropped in favour of either Broadhead or the returning Windass, with me slightly favouring the Welshman due to fitness.

Opponents Norwich City have had their own grumblings from fans so far and have lost both home games at Carrow Road.

They do possess a lot of quality though, and arguably have the best striker in the Championship in Josh Sargent, who is prolific at this level.

Wrexham need to improve greatly, especially defensively, and hopefully can get something out of the game.

Prediction: 2-2
